I don’t know what it is or why it is, but apparently Retro Gaming is coming back in a big way, Earlier this week I posted about Nintendo’s Classic Edition mini console being released this November, well Sega has released information about a Mini console they are going to release as well. Sega is calling it the “Sega Mega Drive Classic Game Console” coming with 80 Classics built right into the console (again just like the Nintendo Classic, no cartridges). Sega having 80 games on theirs kinda casts a shadow on Nintendo’s which only offers a measly 30 games, however both consoles are a good by in my opinion because of the exclusive titles like Sonic and Mario that wouldn’t be on both of them.

Some people are calling this the return to the gaming wars between Sega and Nintendo.

A complete list of the games on console include:

Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle

Alien Storm

Altered Beast

There is also a handheld version with a similar look to the old Game Gear, that supposedly uses a SD card that supposedly lets you add more games to the device.

The MSRP is said to be around $65 USD, and the expected Release Dates for these are said to be around October 2016.
